Go Scuba Diving in Komodo National Park
The world-class diving at Komodo National Park is simply amazing. In the morning, visitors may dive with manta rays, sharks, and giant trevallies, then have lunch drifting over pristine coral reefs, and in the afternoon, search the muck for macro life. Without ever leaving the park’s boundaries, guests may experience over 50 sites. Komodo diving includes a wide range of experiences, from current-swept channels to cave walls, boulder-strewn slopes, colourful reefs, and barren sandy muck sites.
Komodo has two different diving spots, north and south, each with its own set of conditions and habitats. Despite their differences, all Komodo dive sites share one common trait, currents. A swirling drift dive through a channel is an essential part of a Komodo dive, and these currents, although sometimes difficult, are what make Komodo diving so interesting.
