Thousands of Spectators Cheer at Bajo Got Talent 2025 at Meruorah Komodo’s Marina Plaza

The grand finale of Bajo Got Talent 2025 lit up Taman Marina Plaza at Hotel Meruorah Komodo Labuan Bajo with spectacular performances and a sea of enthusiastic spectators.

Held on 21 November 2025 from 16:00 to 19:00 WITA, the talent competition brought together young local artists in dance — both traditional and modern — to perform on a stunning waterfront stage bathed in sunset light.

Finalists came from several schools and dance troupes, including:

• SMKS Stella Maris 2 (Modern Dance)
• Sanggar Wela Yosefa (Traditional Dance)
• SMKS Stella Maris 1 (Traditional Dance)
• SMAN 1 Komodo (Modern Dance)
• Sanggar Taman Nasional Komodo (Traditional Dance), Twinkling Dance, and more.

Judging the competition were three experienced judges:

Desy Natalia — RRI Labuan Bajo reporter and presenter
Ayuni Praise — cultural dance coach and Manggarai heritage advocate
Igor Marpaung — creative force in hotel operations at Meruorah Komodo Labuan Bajo.

Winners & Highlights

Grand Winner: Baggy Jeans (Group #10), with an energetic modern dance performance and a top score of  1,350 points.
Second Place: Spenti Gals (Group #4), scoring 1,280 points with a dynamic modern dance routine.

The event closed with a lively live music performance, wrapping up a memorable evening of talent, culture, and community spirit.

Bajo Got Talent 2025 is part of the larger Komodo Waterfront Festival 2025, a week-long celebration (15–22 November) of Flores’ rich cultural heritage — featuring fashion, dance, music, culinary workshops, and more.
