Meruorah Komodo Labuan Bajo has officially celebrated its 6th anniversary with a series of heartwarming festivities themed “Legacy of Six, Brilliant of Today.” Centered around an energetic “Sport Day” concept, this year’s celebration underscores the hotel’s commitment to its core pillars Integrity, Collaboration, and Innovation aimed at strengthening unity across the entire team.

The celebrations began on October 14–15 with a team-building event for staff at Taman Marina. A variety of interactive games such as “Hula Hoop Chain,” “The Animal Sound Hunter,” “Maze Mission,” and “Memory Challenge” were designed to foster teamwork, sharpen listening skills, improve communication, and enhance strategic planning. The anniversary culminated on Friday, October 16, 2026, with a “Staff Appreciation Night” held in the ballroom of the Meruorah Convention Center (MCC).

The atmosphere at the MCC was grand, warm, and filled with laughter. The main stage and ballroom floor were transformed into a modern sports arena, complete with basketball court-inspired decor, vibrant lighting, and dynamic LED visuals. Staff and management, dressed in coordinated sportswear, gathered to enjoy a gala dinner, live music, interactive quizzes, and creative departmental performances dubbed the “All-Stars Staff Battle” as well as an emotional video retrospective of Meruorah’s six-year journey. The excitement reached its peak during the announcement of the team-building competition winners, the presentation of awards for the best employees of the third quarter (“Best Employee & Best Mention Q3”), and a lucky draw featuring attractive prizes for all attendees. Butar Butar, expressed his gratitude and deep appreciation for the dedication of the entire Meruorah team, who have consistently provided excellent service within the Labuan Bajo Super-Priority Tourism Destination.
