To celebrate the joy of Easter weekend, Meruorah Komodo Labuan Bajo successfully held a fun-filled event titled “A Coastal Easter Celebration” on Sunday, April 5, 2026. Designed specifically for families, the event was attended by approximately 30 children accompanied by their parents, providing an interactive and unforgettable Easter holiday experience on the coast of Labuan Bajo.

The excitement of the event began at 2:30 PM WITA with a registration session, where the F&B staff welcomed attendees. During this session, each child experienced the feeling of being a little chef by being given aprons, while guests enjoyed dishes from the snack corner that had just opened. The event began with a warm greeting from the MC who opened the event and explained the rules for today’s “A Coastal Easter Celebration” series of activities.
The first activity that got the kids excited was the Easter Egg Hunt, which involved a warm-up of the Chicken Dance. Then, each holding their own egg hunt box, the kids prepared to hunt for eggs scattered around the bay’s outdoor area. This session was highly competitive yet fun, with the hotel offering attractive door prizes specifically for the child who collected the most Easter eggs.
After the egg hunt, the children were invited to hone their culinary creativity in the Kids Cooking Class. This special session was led by Meruorah’s Executive Chef, Chef Novan. The children learned and got creative with their own Chicken Mini Burgers, which concluded with a group photo session showcasing their creations.
However, of all the events, the most anticipated event was the Foam Party in the Kids Pool. The atmosphere was instantly filled with joyful laughter as the machine began spraying out masses of white foam. The children were given free rein to run around, play in the water, and dive into the fun of the bubble bath. This experience feels even more magical and special because it takes place in the late afternoon, when children can play while enjoying the orange glow of the Labuan Bajo coastal sunset. This sunset creates a perfect silhouette of happiness, providing a golden opportunity for parents to capture beautiful family photos.
